From the earliest days of planning, they aimed for a more transitional outdoor space, where floor-to-ceiling windows and doors open to an outdoor kitchen that anchors lifestyle and leisure. Phil Kean Designs' Senior Kitchen Designer Todd Atkins explains the generous DCS grill at the helm was the clients' first choice given its durable, long-lasting nature where a lifetime of family dinners can come to fruition. "Our clients are healthy grillers who love cooking with gas and charcoal," Atkins shares. "We placed a DCS grill in the center of the summer kitchen with plenty of space to work on either side for prep and serving. With friends and family over most weekends for lakefront activities, the grill allows our clients to cook healthy meats, fish, and vegetables while keeping food prep and serving outside - where it is most convenient."
